What is IP Voice?
IP Voice, or VoIP Voice over Internet Protocol, is a technology that allows you to make and receive
phone calls and faxes over the Internet instead of through the telephone network.

Do I need to provide a T1 line to use Cohere's telephony products?

quality of service you expect. We can assist you in this process — please let us know how we can help.
If we have other existing contracts in place, can we still take advantage of Cohere Broad Exchange Services (BxS™)?
Will I be talking on a headset connected to my computer if I move to Cohere Communications telephony solutions?
NO. IP Voice replaces your traditional PBX system. You still use telephones to make calls.
Can we make calls while we are accessing the Internet?
Yes. Cohere's phone call shares the Internet connection with other computers that are on the network, and that is why we recommend a
separate T1 line dedicated to IP Voice traffic. This circuit is dynamically allocated between voice and Internet traffic, but voice traffic
will always have priority over data for consistently high call quality. When not on the phone, the entire bandwidth is available for data access!
How do I manage my VoIP network so I don't need to worry about disconnects, poor sounding calls, application failures, and other problems?
You don't need to manage anything, that's what we're here for. Our professionals deliver the best features and network available.
