Cohere Canada is seeking an individual proficient as a Sales Engineer -- in providing customer technical and operational support services. Technical skills should include a working knowledge of VoIP telephony services – at least two years. Networking credentials should include a rudimentary understanding of routers, switches, firewalls and other related LAN/WAN technologies.
This person needs to be self-motivated and willing to undertake a multi-role position in coordinating customer installations, account management (both on premise and/or webinar training), proposal writing, level 1 technical support, problem solving, as well as day-to-day customer account operations.
This individual should be willing to work extended hours with business and work with Cohere's technical teams to support operational requirements. The applicant needs to be a good communicator, both written and oral – as well as demonstrate meticulous work habits.
The company offers an excellent learning environment and this role lends itself for room for promotion. Compensation will be commensurate on skills, with promotions/bonuses linked to performance. Depending on experience, starting salary is targeted at $40,000 to $50,000, as well as other applicable corporate benefits.
